Dear Joanna explores obsession, innocence and growing up. The play is about two kids called Dave and Joanna. Dave is an endearing boy with a huge crush on Joanna. As the play progresses and they reach adolescence, this unrequited love story takes an unsettling turn. 

Funny, dark, and surprising, Dear Joanna is a bold coming-of-age story.

Excerpts of Dear Joanna were staged at the Pleasance theatre in London in March 2026 as part of Chaos III by Long Nights Productions. A rehearsed reading of Dear Joanna took place at The Cockpit in May 2026.
